Already a full house, hot outside and stressful — the air conditioning breaks down. With a condo at 92°, I didn’t feel it was appropriate to have the dogs inside the home, so I called Old Mill Boarding Kennel, and despite it being the week before July 4th (one of their busiest times) they were able to accommodate me in such a meltdown, pun totally intended!! The staff is so friendly, and the majority have worked there for many many years. Mind you, I have never boarded my dogs before, but I have experience with going to Old Mill Veterinary Hospital for several years. Knowing I had the peace of mind medical care is right next door, if needed, put me at ease in the, “just in moments!” The one dog I dropped off had multiple health issues, took several medications daily, required a special diet, but it was a piece of cake to the employees! Needless to say, I just picked the two up a little while ago and they are as happy as clams! I really want to personally thank Timmie for being the face of that place for so long. His hard work and dedication is not only recognized by his professionalism, but if you ask around town, word of mouth will tell you — Old Mill Boarding Kennel is where it’s at! Our dog loves everyone there but he hates nail trims and baths - no other dog store or service has been able to work with him.
